Depressed.

Looking forlorn Nneka moved slowly towards the crib. She was past caring, but the screaming was really getting to her, she peered at her baby and hissed.
"What is it? She asked. The baby felt a little bit appeased when she sighted her mum.
"What is it? Nneka asked once more raising her voice in the process. The baby looked startled.
"I need to rest and all you do is make me distressed she murmured as she lifted the baby with no care. She shoved the baby onto her laps roughly.
Her baby made her face as if she wanted to cry.
Nneka raised her to her face with both arms.
"Don't even dare!" She growled at her baby.
That was it; her baby let out a loud shriek and began to cry.
Nneka looked taken aback for a second and stood up abruptly. Walked towards the cot and flung the baby into it.
She then slumped at the foot of the cot and began to sob.
That was the position she was till she dozed off...

Uche knew his wife was somewhat changed but attributed it to having put to bed. Maybe she's been exhausted by the ordeal of having to wake up at night to feed Chiamaka. He looked at her closely but she averted his gaze when she looked up and saw him staring.
She cringed inwardly and dreaded the meaning of the look her husband gave her. I hope its not what am thinking she thought. I am not ready for this. But its been long..how would she handle keeping him off still? She had deprived him even during pregnancy because she was scared something might go wrong. Chiamaka was their fourth try, and she didn't want anything to go wrong even though her doctor had assured her all was well.

She just hoped what she dreaded won't happen soon.

That evening her wishes didn't come true,  it was obvious Uche was overtly aroused, she resigned to duty and pity because it's really been long....

That night, Uche was happy she finally succumbed and allowed him to caress her, his want was so strong he didn't notice her slight shudder at his touch.
Nneka was angry; angry that no one cared about how she felt but wa being used. There she was being made love to by her husband, why couldn't he sense that she wasn't really enjoying this?!.....yes, she thought she'd manage to put up a show, but a deep seated resentment for er husband's seemingly selfishness rose in her.
As if that wasn't enough, their baby criwdout from her sleep, maybe it was their love making that woke her up Nneka thought. Uche paused for a second and motioned for her to reach for the baby. She easily did by pullin the baby closer on te same bed.

Right then, she felt attacked! Uche was behind her enjoying what had become irritating to her and her baby was busy sucking her breast! She screamed in her head! But she didn't voice her anger and frustration. She seethed at both father and daughter as they both ravished her so to say.......
